This unique animation documentary was previewed at Sheffield Doc Fest this month. Couples and lonely hearts spill their deepest fears, their anxieties, and universal truths about sex and love to relationship therapists. The consequences of being in a relationship can be as bad as not being in one. Why can we sometimes only tell a stranger about what really concerns us when it comes to love? A funny and moving insight into life behind the curtains of suburbia that crackles with domestic tension at the same time as it celebrates the simple joys of togetherness. We were delighted to be asked to work on this project by the multi-award winning Film and Animation company, Sherbet, http://www.sherbet.co.uk The film will be broadcast on BBC2 as part of the Wonderland series in May.

The world premiere of TIONG BAHRU takes place at the National Museum of Singapore on Tuesday 5th October. Directed by Joe and Christine, lensed by leading Singaporean Director of Photography Daniel Low and featuring a cast of over 150 local volunteers, the film tells the story of 3 Tiong Bahru residents over the course of a single day, as they reflect on who they are, who they want to be and the meaning of home, family and community.

Helen gets its world premiere at the Edinburgh Film Festival. "Writer/directors Joe Lawlor and Christine Molloy maintain a sense of slow-burning mystery, treating the characters with heart-twisting compassion whilst keeping their true motivations ambiguous. With an atmosphere quite distinct from any British work of the moment, this is a most exciting debut."
